Refunds
Refunds, deposits, and cancelled briefings
These rules apply to Hearing Sheets, Ledger Readings, Year Comparison Folios, and the Council Budget Folio. Commissions are drawings and briefings, agreed in a written note. Fees move by bank transfer. Revised 20 September 2026.
Eligibility
You may ask for a refund of money the studio has actually received. An unanswered estimate request has no fee and nothing to refund. A refund follows the stage the work has reached, not a flat promise that every baht comes back on the day you change your mind.
Timeframe
Write to hello@thinkanchor.click within fourteen days of the event you are asking about: the cancellation, the missed briefing, or the day you received the folio. We confirm what stage the file is in within five working days of that letter.
Deposit
A commission starts with a deposit, usually two-fifths of the quoted fee. If you cancel in writing within seven days of the deposit arriving, and we have not yet begun reading the papers, the deposit is refunded in full. If the reading has begun and the charts or notes have not been drafted, we keep a reading portion equal to the Ledger Reading guidance on the rates page for the fund we opened, and we refund the rest of the deposit. Once draft charts or the written reading notes have been delivered to you, that stage is not refunded.
Work already started, and materials
Drawing time already spent, and the paper and binding already bought for your folio, are not refunded. If we have printed a hearing sheet, the print cost and the drawing of that sheet stay with the studio. Unstarted later stages are refunded. For a Council Budget Folio, the stages are the reading, the draft charts, the binding, and the briefing. A cancelled stage that has not started is refunded even when an earlier stage is kept.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel a commission in writing at any time; the refund then follows the stages above. A briefing can be moved once, without a fee, if you tell us at least five days before the agreed day. A second move, or a move with fewer than five days’ notice, forfeits the briefing portion of the fee. The folio or notes already made are still handed over.
No-shows
If the chamber or the clerk does not meet us on the briefing day and has not asked to reschedule under the rule above, the briefing portion is kept. We will offer one new day in the following ten days. If that day is also missed, we do not hold a third date inside the original fee. The folio itself remains yours once the fee rules for the drawing stages are met.
If we are late, or we cannot finish
If the bound copies are late and the council has already sat, we still deliver them, and we refund the briefing portion if the briefing could not be held because of our lateness. Unbound sets provided for the sitting are part of the drawing stage, not a reason to withhold the whole fee. If we stop because documents you agreed to send never arrive, we refund stages we did not start and we keep the reading we could complete from what we had. If we decline to continue because a document should not have been shared with us, we refund every baht received for stages not yet delivered.
Method and processing time
Refunds go back by bank transfer to the account that paid, in Thai baht. We send the transfer within fourteen business days of agreeing the amount in writing. We do not refund in cash, and we do not move the money to a different commission unless you ask for that in the same letter and we accept it.
Who to write to
Refund requests go to hello@thinkanchor.click, with the office name, the fiscal year, and the date of the payment. You may also telephone (02-540-2941) and then confirm in writing. The studio address is 15/2 Hathairat Road, Bang Chan, Khlong Sam Wa, Bangkok 10510.
